WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM?

This program is designed to teach, support and mentor young agricultural enthusiasts on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.

WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?

  • Must be an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe

  • Must be 10-20 years old

  • Applicants under the age of 18 must have parental/guardian consent

  • Loan applicant must reside on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation

  • Must have a project advisor (ex: rancher on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation who has been running their operation for 10+ years)

  • Must attend financial literacy class

MORE INFORMATION

  • Loan funds can be used for purchase of livestock or equipment, real estate purchase, or renovation, or working capital.

  • Maximum of 7 year repayment period
