We are a Native-led non-profit organization serving the communities of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. We help create a stronger reservation economy while maintaining strong connections to our land, our traditional values and our cultural history.
We provide financial opportunities to stimulate economic development by promoting self-sufficiency, self-determination and an enhanced quality of life for the reservation communities.
We offer the tools, resources and training to help individuals, families and entrepreneurs create better lives and a stronger community.
What we provide:
SMALL BUSINESS TRAINING & LENDING
We offer Small Business Development Training and Workshops through the year. PPCD also offers Small Business Loans up to $5,000.
INCOME TAX
ASSISTANCE (VITA)
PPCD partners with Chief Dull Knife College Extension Service to provide FREE income tax assistance by IRS Certified Volunteers every year
CREDIT BUILDING
PPCD offers Credit Builder Loans within a range of $200 to $1000
FINANCIAL LITERACY TRAINING
We partner with Northern Cheyenne Housing Authority to offer the monthly "Financial Fitness" course

People's Partner from Community Development staff were recognized by Montana Governor, Steve Bullock. Governor Bullock hand delivered certificates for 2016's recipients of the Montana Indian Equity Fund and to PPCD & CDKC Extension Service Staff for their work in helping clients apply for the grant.
