People's Partner for Community Development is a Native-led non-profit organization serving the communities of the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Montana. We help create a stronger reservation economy while maintaining strong connections to our land, our traditional values and our cultural history.

We provide financial opportunities to stimulate economic development  by promoting self-sufficiency, self-determination and an enhanced quality of life for the reservation communities. 

We offer the tools, resources and training to help individuals, families and entrepreneurs create better lives and a stronger community.

We offer Small Business Development Training and Workshops through the year. We also offer Small Business Loans.

YOUTH AG PROGRAM

This program is designed to teach, support and mentor young agricultural enthusiasts on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.

We offer Credit Builder Loans to clients who are looking to re-build their damaged credit, or clients that have no credit and want to establish their credit.

Courtesy Cash, Inc. is a local business that has been in operation since the 1950s that serves our local community with check cashing, small loans, and more.

The Morning Star Federal Credit Union Chartered by NCUA

The National Credit Union Administration has granted a federal charter and Share Insurance Fund coverage to The Morning Star Federal Credit Union in Lame Deer, Montana. 

PPCD is proud to be the sponsoring entity to bringing this much needed service to our communities. 

The Morning Star Federal Credit Union will be a low-income-designated credit union serving people who live, work, worship, or attend school in Big Horn and Rosebud Counties in Montana.
